People with blood type A may be more likely to catch coronavirus: Study
People with blood type A may be more vulnerable to coronavirus infection, while those with type O seem more resistant, a Wuhan University study of patients stated. The researchers took blood group patterns of over 2,000 coronavirus patients and compared them to local healthy populations. Type A patients showed higher rate of infection and tendency to develop more severe symptoms.
