9 Coronavirus patients Treated Successfully from Srinagar hospital
Srinagar, Apr 18, Nine persons, who were hospitalized, after testing positive for Coronavirus last month, were discharged from the 2 Srinagar hospitals today, after repeatedly testing negative for the infection, they had contracted.
Nodal Officer for Coronavirus at SKIMS Soura, Dr. Ghulam Hasan Itoo told that 4 patients were discharged from the hospital after their recovery from lethal COVID-19 infection. He added that three patients hail from Srinagar while one is residing in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Head of Department Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar, Dr Naveed Nazir said that five patients were also discharged from the hospital. “Five more patients recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged,” he said.
Dr Naveed added that among the five patients who were discharged from the hospital, 3 are from Budgam and 2 are from Srinagar.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir stand at 324, with 54 reported from the Jammu region while 282 are from Kashmir.
